Keep each unique plate on its own line with the exact wording, dimensions and quantity. Include the drawing revision and any required character height. We can quote the custom engraving without asking you to configure a complete kit first.

Custom PV placards and replacement tags
Send identification for disconnects, inverters, equipment locations or interconnection points, as well as single-line diagram placards and your own project-specific text. For a replacement, a photograph helps show the layout; include dimensions and the current wording separately so the new plate follows the right revision.
If the request includes equipment ratings or warning text, supply the correct information from the responsible project documentation. We engrave to the supplied specification. Plate wording, dimensions and suitability still need to match the requirements for your job.
What to send with your quote request
Download a blank tag-list CSV → Open it in your spreadsheet app, enter one row per unique plate and use the quantity column for repeats. Email the completed list with your province, utility and required date.
- Province and utility: tell us where the installation is.
- Wording or drawing: show the text for each plate and identify the governing revision.
- Dimensions: give width and height with units; include required character height.
- Quantity: state how many copies of each plate you need.
- Colours and mounting: background colour first, lettering second; adhesive, holes or both. Dimension any holes or cutouts.
- Delivery: include destination and the date the plates are needed.
For exposure to weather, chemicals or heat, include the material requirement so the appropriate grade and mounting can be confirmed. An engraved finish alone does not establish an outdoor-life rating.

Pricing and turnaround
Plates are priced individually: a charge per plate plus a rate on its engraved area, with volume breaks at 25, 50 and 100 plates. Final pricing depends on your plate specification and quantity, and the builder shows it in full, with HST, on its last screen. See how a kit is priced.
Standard turnaround is 1–3 business days. Larger orders or complex drawings may need more time. Include the date you need the plates; rush timing is available on request.
